FNQ Yestayear Images - March 1994

 
Sunstate SH-360 VH-FCU turned up on the 31st wearing QF tail trim

Freeport's VIP B757 N680FM stopped over on the 6th, en-route Timika-Honolulu 

Chee Air C402 P2-CBC visited on the 16th en route from Archerfield to LAE

C-47 N65388 wearing South Pacific titles departed for Camden on the 29th.  It would return later as VH-SPY.  25 years on the aircraft is still extant (and complete) at Cairns.


 Veteran and former Talair Twin Otter P2-RDB, was sold in the USA as N669JW to a company for use as a skydiving platform, and dep on its ferry on the 21st.   It was still performing this task last year (see Twin Otter Spotter blog photo last year).
